Over the five years of the RLAS study a variety of challenges came up. In some cases we could not find accessible, up-to-date resources to help our schools, so we made our own! The RLAS Guidance Documents, made by experienced RLAS coaches, are tailored to the specific requests and needs of our schools. Topics and links to the documents are below:

The Gender Spectrum works to create gender sensitive and inclusive environments for all children and teens. They offer a variety of educational materials and training opportunities for schools, organizations, and families. https://genderspectrum.org
New Mexico school or library staff: Request a FREE set of LGBTQ+ affirming K-12 books! GLSEN Albuquerque will be sending 60 LGBTQ+ affirming text sets to schools and libraries in fall 2021. Resources are limited, and will be prioritized on a first come, first served basis AND the desire to have statewide geographic distribution. Head to rainbowlibrary.org/NewMexico today!
